Coach Simonds has been named as a board member for the recently formed Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA). This new organization was formed to promote volleyball in the Houston area through coaching clinics, information data bases and continuing education. The GHVCA will also promote area volleyball seniors in an annual All-Star tournament held in January. For more information on the GHVCA, click on the link below.

Ashley Smith named to GHVCA Pre-Season Top 30 Players

Clear Creek Sophomore Outside Hitter, Ashley Smith, was named to the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association's Pre-Season Top 30 Players in a recent article posted in the Houston Chronicle. Joining Ashley on the Houston Area's Pre-Season Top 30 players watch list are six fellow District 24-5A players: Shelbee Berringer (Dickinson), Malorie Pardo & Kaylie Young (Pearland), Alicia Dittrich & Cati O'Connell (Clear Brook) and Kiara Wright (Clear Lake).
