Welcome to the Home of the 2010 Clear Creek Wildcats

Coach Scott Simonds is entering his 12th year at Clear Creek High School and his 7th year as the Wildcat's varsity head coach. During those past six seasons, Coach Simonds has lead the Clear Creek girls to a berth in the post season playoffs while capturing four District 24-5A Championships. His teams have also captured the Bi-District Championship five seasons, the Area Championship four seasons, advanced to the prestigious Region 3-5A semifinals four seasons and the Region 3-5A finals three seasons.

His 2008 Clear Creek team finished with a 41-5 record on their way to being undefeated District 24-5A Champions, Bi-District Champions, Area Champions, Region 3-5A Champions and reaching the Texas 5A State tournament semifinals where they lost to eventual State Champion Amarillo in five sets. The Wildcats ended their season ranked 2nd in the final Texas 5A State Volleyball poll and 27th in the final National 5A Volleyball poll.

Coach Simonds was named District 24-5A Coach of the Year in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008 and the Galveston County Daily News Coach of the Year in 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008. He has also been named as the Houston Area Coach of the Year. He was named Head Coach of the Texas Girls Coaches Association (T.G.C.A.) 4A/5A East All State Team in 2009.

Coach Simonds is a Board of Director member of the Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) that was established to promote volleyball coaches in the Houston area through improved coaching communication and continuing education clinics. The GHVCA will also promote senior volleyball players in the Houston area by hosting an All-Star volleyball tournament each January to showcase the area's talent.
