GHVCA

The GHVCA is a newly formed coaches association that was established to offer opportunities to all of its members to grow as coaches through summer clinics that feature highly regarded speakers from all spectrums of the volleyball coaching community. It is also designed to help Houston area volleyball players acheive their ultimate goal of earning a college volleyball scholarship by showcasing the Houston area players in an annual All-Star tournament during January of each year.

The GHVCA will provide a governing body that will enable coaches to seek out sources of information that will enhance their ability to become better coaches and leaders as well as an avenue to address problems coaches may be experiencing with their respective schools, athletes, fans or officials.

The GHVCA is open to all middle school, junior high, high school and club coaches to make your coaching experience an enjoyable one for all involved.

Features Two Wildcat Standouts

The Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) held it's First Annual Senior All-Star Tournament on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at Pearland High School. The four All-Star teams featured 44 of the Houston area's best senior volleyball players. Natalie Piznar Selected To Play In 2012 GHVCA Senior All-Star Tournament

Natalie Piznar, Clear Creek High School's senior libero, was selected to play in the second annual Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) Senior All-Star Tournament. The senior player showcase will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at Pearland High School. The GHVCA tournament will feature 44 of the Houston area's best senior volleyball players divided onto four teams. Natalie will play on the North All-Star squad while Clear Creek High School head coach, Scott Simonds, will be an assistant coach on the South team.
